The team and role

Our Customer and Partner Success team works alongside both our customers and our world-class partners who sell, deliver and support FintechOS technology. A central part of our role in ensuring their success is our commitment to empowering them with the skills and knowledge needed to achieve their objectives using FintechOS. 

To this end, we are currently building out our enablement capabilities, increasing our ability to effectively onboard, train and empower everyone that uses FintechOS. We are rebuilding our online academy, redesigning our training curricula, creating new learning assets, and refreshing our approach to classroom training. This is a high priority project for FintechOS, being driven by the CEO.

We are looking for a senior technical trainer to help us with these efforts. The primary focus is on live training (classroom and online), but you will be expected to contribute to all areas of our learning strategy. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role but with the opportunity to influence across the organisation.

The role reports to the Director of Customer & Partner Success.

Key responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced trainer with a deep technical background to take ownership of our training delivery function, and to work closely with our learning and development team to build out a modern, effective and engaging learning program across multiple channels.

You will:

  • Own the delivery of all forms of training at FintechOS
  • Design and execute on strategies for the delivery of FintechOS learning programs i.e. what methods of delivery should be used
  • Package learning content according to objectives and stakeholder need
  • Work directly with partners and customers to deliver specialised, highly technical training programs to enhance their understanding of FintechOS’ capabilities
  • Produce training schedules, agendas and learning outcomes
  • Work closely with colleagues in the learning team to design and create technical learning content across various roles and skillsets

Job requirements

About you

  • Extensive experience designing and delivering technical training programs focused around building software solutions
  • A strong technical/information technology background is a must. You should be confident teaching about concepts such as data modelling, technical security mechanisms, data integration and coding (JavaScript).
  • You must be comfortable engaging people of various technical ability – from business users and technical consultants, through to developers and technical architects.
  • Previous experience in a technical (BA, developer, engineer, architect), delivery or pre-sales role may be an advantage
  • Expert knowledge of multiple training techniques (in-person, online, recorded etc.), and the ability to deliver technical content in an engaging manner
  • Experience designing technical course content across multiple skillsets
  • The ability to tailor content and delivery to different personas and ability levels
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Ability to influence across an organisation
  • Proactive and independent mindset, with the willingness to take the initiative and make decisions with minimal supervision

Preferred skills/experience

  • Experience in a fast-paced start-up/scale-up environment
  • Good knowledge of financial services and markets
  • Experience of digital transformation technologies
  • Fluency in multiple European languages
